In 2010 the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery acquired a large tapestry "Nile Flowers and Papyrus" by Mahrous Abdou. The Ramses Wissa Wassef Exhibition Trust is happy to have been able to assist with a contribution towards the purchase. The tapestry will hang in the permanent Egypt gallery and the work will complement the ancient Egyptian material on display, including some Coptic weaving as well as a collection of contemporary Egyptian craft
